Jason’s love for all things culinary began in Baltimore, Maryland where he was born and raised. After starting his first position in a kitchen as a dishwasher, he quickly fell in love with the inner workings of restaurant kitchens. After a short stint of traveling throughout Europe working in kitchens when he could, he ended up in Italy where he stayed for a short time learning sauce techniques, and the importance of carefully sourcing the right ingredients.
In 2004 Jason returned to the United States invigorated by his experience and set out to open his own Catering business. After running Pure Imagination Catering for 6 years, Jason closed its doors and returned to the restaurant scene he missed so much. With both private and corporate restaurant experience, Jason quickly learned all he could from the mentors he worked with. In 2014 he joined the culinary team at Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill as Executive Chef where his love of operating steakhouses began.
In 2018 Jason joined the OLE Hospitality Group to serve as Executive Chef at Steak & Bourbon, bringing with him his expansive knowledge of steakhouse operation.
